PAYMENT METHOD  1:   Payment via EFT into our Absa bank account.

REFERENCE:                    This is VERY Important – please write YOUR Name & Surname as the reference.

PROOF OF PAYMENT:     There is no need to send us proof of payment.
We will pick your payment up from our banking statements once a week.
We then send you a confirmation e-mail that we did receive your payment.
You will also receive your 2013 Membership Certificate shortly thereafter.
 
AMOUNT:  How much should you transfer?  
The membership fee up to the end of  2014 is R120. 

Apart from the annual membership fee, we always appreciate any donation – but only if you feel like it.
      We will pay the extra amount over towards:
       ** Sponsoring website access for a pensioner or two.
       ** Donating to the NPF (Needy Pensioners Fund)

MEMBERSHIP FEES – GENERAL INFORMATION:

2013 – 2014:  The Orange Tail Committee decided that the membership Fee for the Orange Tail Association will be R10.00 per month (payable annually R120 p.a.) right up to the end of 2014.  This amount no longer includes a donation for the pensioners, but we very kindly ask for assistance towards the sponsoring one of the following:
        –  Sponsor a pensioner’s website access (R80.00)
        –  If possible, please make a contribution to our fund for needy SAA pensioners.
 
THE PURPOSE FOR CHARGING THE R10.00 MEMBERSHIP FEE:

Our monthly expenses includes salary for our half day secretary, telephone calls & sms’s, internet cost, website hosting fees, website development expenses, flowers & cards at funerals etc.  Without your assistance the Orange Tail organisation would not be able to function at all.A large percentage of our membership can not afford the membership fee, and are sponsored by other members. Many of our senior members do not even have their own computer, and only access the website when they visit friends and family with an internet connection. This is their only way of staying in touch with other Orange Tailers, and  we want to thank all of you that can afford it, for so magnanimously sponsoring the less fortunate members.  Many thanks for your assistance.

NPF (NEEDY PENSIONERS FUND):
Many thanks also to the many other Orange Tail members who unselfishly each year sponsors one or two pensioners. And then a huge THANK YOU to those of you who contribute a “brick” every quarter to our NPF “Wall Of Support” . A brick is for a R50 per quarter (payable either every 3 months, or 6 months, or annually) towards the NPF (Needy Pensioner Fund).  See the ”wall of sponsors” on the menu to open a page with all our “brick sponsors”.  Without your generous assistance we could not support the needy SAA pensioners out there.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We will never ever deny anybody access to this website. All we ask is that if you can not afford the R10.00 per month membership fee (payable annually at R120), that you please inform us. Rather than blocking your access to the site, we will then find someone willing to sponsor you for the year. But please inform us if you can not afford the R10.00 per month, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
 
Despite the fact that we have many crew registered on the website, only about 30% are active members (i.e. they log in from time to time, attend reunions etc.). Of those actively involved fewer than half pay their annual membership fee. This means that only about 15% of the people registered on this website contribute to the upkeep thereof.

    Hello Jopie, thanks for the brilliant site and the most wonderful tribute to Capt Laurie may he RIP. have transfered over the amount of R300.00 that will be for my 2013 membership fees, the rest is for you to donate to whom/what ever is needed.
