MEMBERSHIP FEES

The Orange Tail Committee decided that the membership Fee for the Orange Tail Association will be REDUCED to R8.25 per month. We will no longer include an amount that is paid over to the NPF (Needy Pensioners Fund) , but instead ask our members for a voluntary donation towards assisting our needy ex SAA colleagues.  The R8.25 to cover our projected operating cost up to the end of 2013. and is less than what you pay for a can of Coke!  Many of our Pensioners can not afford to pay this, and if you can sponsor one or more pensioner, it will be much appreciated.
 
THE PURPOSE FOR CHARGING THE R.8.25 MEMBERSHIP FEE:

Our monthly expenses includes salary for our half day secretary, telephone calls & sms’s, internet cost, website hosting fees, website development expenses, flowers & cards at funerals etc.  Without your assistance the Orange Tail organisation would not be able to function at all. A large percentage of our membership can not afford the membership fee, and are sponsored by other members. Many of our senior members do not even have their own computer, and only access the website when they visit friends and family with an internet connection. This is their only way of staying in touch with other Orange Tailers, and  we want to thank all of you that can afford it, for so magnanimously sponsoring the less fortunate members. In this regard I particularly want to mention Linda Rainsford and Alta (Mertz) Venter who every year sponsors a large amount of Orange Tailers, as well as contribute to the NPF. Many thanks for your assistance.

NPF (NEEDY PENSIONERS FUND): Many thanks also to the many other Orange Tail members who unselfishly each year sponsors one or two pensioners. And then a huge THANK YOU to those of you who contribute a “brick” a month to our NPF “Wall Of Support” . A brick is for a R50 per month debit order towards the NPF (Needy Pensioner Fund). We will soon have our  ”wall of sponsors” up on the website with your name on your bricks. Without your generous assistance we could not support the needy pensioners out there.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We will never ever deny anybody access to this website. All we ask is that if you can not afford the R8.25 per month membership fee (payable annually at R99), you please inform us. Rather than blocking your access to the site, we will then find someone willing to sponsor you for the year (highly confidential). But please inform us if you can not afford the R8.25 per month, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

    Hi Joppie. Ek wil ook net dankie se vir die ongelooflike GROOT effort wat jy insit met hierdie website. Dit is vreeslik interessant om al die nuus van almal te sien en jou gereelde insetsels word baie waardeer. Ek sal baie meer gereeld op die blad wees as dit nie vir die blerrie password is nie!!!!!!! :-) Raak nou oud en vergeet die flippen ding gereeld!. Lekker naweek x

    Hi Joppie. I will look on the Orange tail website and would like to pay for 2 ( two ) for a year. This should be R200.00. Also to contribute to the ‘Brick a Month’ fund. I am still hardly computer literate so please inform me what previous membership fees are outstanding’
